Net Zero Carbon
At COP 25, we joined fellow B Corporations to announce that Montanaro would achieve Net Zero by 2030. We have partnered with Climate Care to offset the impact of our business travel.
Recycling
We recycle waste and consider our printing volumes. Using periodic collections, we recycle unwanted electrical items.
Charity
We support City Harvest, a London based charity providing food for those in need. Charles Montanaro founded Tribal Survival, a charity that promotes the well-being of indigenous people. Our team volunteers for charities every year.
Diversity
Our team is multi-cultural and comprises ten different nationalities. We promote diversity and equality throughout our business.
Wellness
We encourage healthy eating and support a charity that supplies fresh fruit for the office. We also run a weekly yoga class, helping to ensure the well-being of the team.
As a certified B Corporation, we aim to lead by example and encourage sustainable practices in smaller businesses around the world.

Tribal Survival
Our founder, Charles Montanaro, established Tribal Survival – a UK-registered charity which aims to promote the wellbeing of indigenous people across the world.
Charles is an anthropologist by training and has visited remote tribes across the world for decades. With his wife, Jane, he established Tribal Survival in 2014 to provide aid to endangered tribes, particularly the Korowai Tribe in West Papua.
Ever increasing resource pressures are placing stress on the lives of those fighting to retain their ancestral lands, customs and traditions. With support from the World Health Organisation, Tribal Survival has sponsored a number of trips to distribute medication to remote tribes.

City Harvest London
In partnership with The Giving Department we are seeking to identify charities where we can make a meaningful difference, via donations and the volunteering of our staff. As a result, we are delighted to provide support to City Harvest London.
City Harvest provides a simple solution: the charity collects high quality surplus food from the UK’s leading retailers, wholesalers, restaurants and manufacturers to distribute to more than 350 community programmes that serve meals to vulnerable people in London. Since its founding in 2014, City Harvest has delivered more than 50 million meals and saved over 78,000 tonnes of greenhouse gases by preventing wood from being wasted.

We support the Montanaro team with their own charitable endeavours by matching the donations they raise.
Montanaro is acutely aware of the human suffering that is occurring as a result of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. In response to this, our team has collectively made a significant contribution to the ‘Disaster Emergency Committee – Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal’.
